Alamance County’s having a photo shootout for Earth Day. The only rules are that you have to take them within a certain time frame and they have to be taken of the Haw River. All of these are from the Swepsonville River Park. Here are the ones that I entered, plus a few.
Also on our trip we stopped by the Arlington National Cemetery.
There we visited JFK’s grave site and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The whole cemetery is such a moving place while it honors our country’s dead.
For the spring break my family took a trip to Washington. On the way we stopped at the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico. The museum was really cool and very well made. It included such things as the original flag flown at Iwo Jima and lots of models of tanks and planes. Here are a few of the pics I shot.
So this is my first post on a blog that I’ve had for a long time and just haven’t gotten to working on it. Now I’m on spring break and this is how I’m spending my time.
So these pictures are some that I shot of the cherry blossoms in my backyard.
